According to AS 1725.1-2010 Chain link fabric fencing, part 1: Security fences and gates- General requirements, 1.4.13 fittings are clamps, caps, hinges and components used in the assembly of a fence.

2.4 FITTINGS /BASEPLATES
All clamps, pipe fittings, hinges, fasteners, catches and baseplates and any other parts shall be manufactured from plain carbon stee, suitable for hot-dip galvanizing complying with AS/NZS 4680.
